Young people carry futures we cannot yet imagine. In Creative Labs, we create space for them to discover the power they already hold.
Over CMSD Spring Break March 23-27th, students work with trained Asé facilitators to develop an original multimedia performance rooted in ceremony and cultural restoration. This is not a talent show. This is not about creating performers. This is about uplifting each child as the individual powerhouse they are.
What We Do:
Connect students to breath, body, and creative freedom
Explore personal, family, and community stories
Learn ancestral technologies: rhythm, movement, storytelling, prayer
Create an original "Portal of Knowing" performance
Build confidence, literacy, and positive self-image through the arts
